There was RED and there was BLUE but if you are a bride-to-be or a mother of the bride-to-be well, you were in luck last night because “bridal” was certainly trending on the red carpet at the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards. From the Modern to the flat of Matronly, there certainly was something for everyone so feel free to draw your inspiration from what you saw on display. In a sea of statement gowns and sleek dresses, the wedding gown look as seen above stood out (we’re sure Vera Wang would be so proud) as a clear trend and while we loved some and turned our faces away at the others we can honestly conclude that last night saw some of the best fashion displays on red carpet in a very long time. Well done ladies.

WHAT WE LOVED
Verdict: Functional, inspired yet colourful and creative looking bridesmaid gowns a girl would actually think about wearing again. The nude pumps on the short dresses are a bit distracting but other than that, we love!

These women are like human mannequins to the jeweler who has selected them to hawk their latest goods (usually due to the popularity of the chosen among other reasons) therefore when you see a woman looking like this in a catalog or at a press event it is acceptable due to the nature of their assignment.
