It was an evening that saw fewer fashion triumphs but more fashion disasters collide and crash into one another on the red carpet at the MGM Grand in Vegas where some of the best and the brightest stars of the Country Music scene gathered to pay homage to the most accolade worthy of their peers. We at Fashionwidget, applaud Brooklyn Decker for her fashion sense. She graced the red carpet in a tan-colored skin-tight knee-length sheath dress Victoria Beckham creation and who along with Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion & Taylor Swift were perhaps the only divas who made fashion statements that were worth mentioning. Correct us if we’re wrong.

Very few people can bring the red carpet to a standstill with their arrival on it and still bring the crowd to their feet when they perform on stage the way former American Idol winner Carrie Underwood can and does at almost every event she graces with her presence. She showed up at the ACMAs in a purple bejeweled floor-length gown by Jean Fares Couture then got in touch with her inner rock goddess when she hit the stage later (performing with Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler) in a sequined silver corset and pleated mini skirt wearing funky cowboy boots and completed the look with hot pink-glam extensions blended into her golden mane. All we can say is wow!
