Ms good-two-shoes (no pun intended) Patti Labelle won the 2011 lifetime achievement award, schooled ’em on how it’s done with class in the singing department and still managed to look like the belle of the ball. Teach us, Ms. Patti,  teach us!!!

^Marsha narrowly made it onto the best dressed list. I appreciate the fact that she lost a lot of weight and looks fantastic but I wish this sequined maxi dress of hers were two to three inches longer, either that or she needed to have adjusted it by pulling it down or something. + Those shoes are a wrong fit and wrong for this outfit but other than that she looked great.

AND THE BAD FASHION IDEAS ON THE BLACK CARPET…

This Herve Leger frock did Mary wrong and vice versa.

Herve Leger did nothing for Nene either. It’s called the ‘body-con’ look for a reason.

Wear shoes that camouflage with your hosiery, what’s the point?

Forget to look  in a mirror  (preferably a full length looking-glass) before you venture out to your event after dressing up

Wear too many accessories

Wear too many shades or material of one colour at once, even the thought of this clashes, talk less of the look

Stylish Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Her Husband Abhishek Bachchan Journey Into Parenthood

HOW TO SUIT UP

In case you were wondering, this is how it’s done. Thank you Wilmer Valderrama and John Salley. A+

Too cool for his shoes. Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Scott Bakula. A+

HOW “NOT” TO SUIT UP

Jane Lynch. The blue lacy blouse is too distracting, the blazer is too shiny and the shoes are awkward. GLEE is a very successful show, please dress the part.

CLASSIC CLEAN LOOKS

Anna Torv might have been playing it safe because of the cut-out waist definition in her dress but she should have experimented with the shoes. It’s summer, come on! Take a risk. Anyhow, we still loved it.

If you blink you might not even see that there is a dress here because it blends too much with her complexion. The shoes are too bulky and look like they belong in a jeans pairing or with a longer dress. The clutch does not help much either. Better luck next time Mirielle Enos.

The fact that Kaley Cuoco went to great lengths to pose in such a way that ensures that we see that this is a jumpsuit tells us that even she knows something is wrong here. Love her hairstyle and the top portion of the outfit though.

Kyle Richards, this dress looks like a wardrobe malfuction waiting to happen.
