FASHIONWIDGET’S VERDICT: Classy. Chic. Stylish. Sophisticated. I especially loved the black Ralph Lauren gown she wore to the farewell dinner party, that’s my personal pick from the entire trip. I just don’t get her detractors when they nit-pick at everything she wears, we are not the first to report on Michelle’s UK style but I must say we might be one of the selected few who actually fancied her global chic wardrobe. Michelle Obama is a very beautiful and stylish woman with a great figure. Let’s leave it at that. People who feel the need to compare her to former first ladies or comment on the shape of her body are just being ridiculous because this woman can only be one person and that is who she is… Michelle Obama.

Fashionwidget’s Verdict: As speculated, the bride wore a classic lace themed organza gown complete with a cinched waist and bodice from the house of McQueen. Alexander McQueen that is. The gown (which fit like a painted on glove) appeared to have added padding in the hip area drawing attention to Kate’s tiny waistline. It was designed by Sarah Burton and is rumoured to cost somewhere between $15-$20 million USD. Speechless-ly Spectacular! A++++++++
