Fear not SG fans and admirers, all is not lost here. I do love her Brian Atwood gold pumps (this girl has a great arsenal of kicks) and she certainly knows how to accessorize well. I have to say though, this was not one of her fashion triumphs. The top of the dress is busy enough to be a conversation starter so why is the bottom mini/maxi bit so distracting? Perhaps she could have pulled off the look if she had worn the design in a brighter colour (without the train) which would have made it look younger and fresher. Not in love with the hair-do for her either, too matronly. She looks like a high school teacher trying to be edgy at the prom. C-

By now you would have to be living under a rock not to know that Beyonce Knowles-Carter, wife of rapper and entrepreneur Sean Carter aka Jay Z is pregnant. The singer informally announced that she’s expecting by reportedly telling the paparazzi on the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles that she had a surprise as she cradled her belly displaying a small bump. Later on in the evening, following her performance of a new song entitled ‘Love on top’ she unbuttoned her jacket, turned sideways towards the crowd revealing her maternity pants(trousers) and showed off her baby bump. The crowd (who had already given her a standing ovation and probably found out about the pregnancy via twitter like the rest of us) went wild. Congratulations Beyonce and Jay Z from the entire Fashionwidget team.
